L. Kautz & Co. , a California corporation, hereinafter called "CONTRACTOR," for certain services as outlined herein in connection with the d• es and responsibilities of administering a a program of Liability Self-Insurance, W I T H E S S E T Hi } s WHEREAS, CITY has undertaken to self-insure; and, WHEREAS, CONTRACTOR is engaged in the supet ision and administration of programs of self-insurance, � R #: NOW, THEREFORE, for and in consideration of the mutual 3k. obligations hereby assumed and the performance of the acts ., � hereinafter set forth, the parties hereto agree as follows- � ,r 1. CONT'RACTCR agrees to provide complete ad,yu tment services on each accident or incident which is or may, be the subject of a liability claim. Such er vices shall include: A. They have continued to pray➢ ' . service on month to wnth basis at priar year contract monthly* fee basis of $2,25, month RECGIVENDAT ION 4 Approve month to month extension of prior Yedr contract 52,250.00 month. 3 ANALYSIS Bias for Liability Administration Set-,,ices were received in May 19822 for the Fiscal Year 1982/83. They were not awarded due to ongoing review of methods & procedures responsibilities for various 'self-insured programs within the city. This study is now being finalized by consultant Rod Sackett.. In the interim Kautz has continued to perform the Liability Claim Administrative duties and they should be paid for their services.
