SAN!---WM shall furnish to City, evidence that it ; is fully covered by Workmens' Compensation insurance on all its employees and a certificate to that effect shall be filed s �r with the City of Huntington Beach. { 3. S ---GM shall carry public liability and property ;7 damage insurance , in amounts of not less than $50,000 bodily injury for one person, $100,000 bodily injury for more than one person and $25,000 property damage and certificates of such insurance shall be filed with the City. In such public� y p :•i liability and property damage insurance the City shall be '� ti named as an additional insured. i 1+. In addition to said insurance , Sani--flare shall de- posit with the City (cash) (surety bond) in the sum of '1100C.00 to pay for the replacement of all breakage or dam - ' age caused to any City building or facility by reason of any negligent act on the part of 3ani--Care , its agents, servants ri JJ or employees. f: i w 5. Y cure ;and deliver those supplies to City, billing City for them separately on a regular monthly basis. 6. This Agreement shall become effective as of the 1st day of April, 1961 ', and continue to and including the 31st fit'•,� j day 'of March, 196.3-., subject , however, to sooner termination r' as hereinafter provided. x 7• SANI-CARE, in performing the janitorial services n hereinafter set forth, shall at all times so regulate its time that the work shall be performed after business hours and when the offices are generally closed and at such times .7 as the buildings are not in use for public functions. It '-i Shall have its men on call for emergency services , of a jani- torial nature, whenever required, by reason of any use of the Memorial Hall which would necessitate immediate atten- tion of a janitorial nature. ; a :€ 8. ZA 1• -eARE shall , at all times maintain courteous , neat appearing employees and should at any time , any com- plaint be received by the City relating to the improper ac- tions or conduct of any employees of SAN-I-eAitE ,and SA#1,=CA RI } f t. � notified thereof , and the condition not be remedied within r ten (10) days after notification to SAKI-CARE, or said employ- s � es dismissed by 3ANI-CARE! then such actioi: or conduet shall be grounds for the City to terminate this Agreement upon ten (10) days notice to SAKI--CARS;. .5 7i •A '7 3. ^ - al t t `y 1 y w�q f ai 4 14. That the services to be rendered by Sani-Care to City are more specifically set forth as follows . City Hall..and..Palice,A =` DAI : (Sunday thru Thursday - between 6:00 P.M. and 11:00 -:; P.M. ) . . Empty and clean ash trays , waste baskets and other waste # containers. Sweep and/or dust mop floors, halls and :L stairways. Vacuum rugs and carpeting. Dust and clean i4a, level surfaces of dasks chairs tables filing cabi- nets and other office furniture. Spot clean fingermarks ;rs ^: from countertops and glass desk tops. Clean drinking fountains and refill dispensers. Dust banisters hand rails and window sills. Completely sanitize restrooms. . Clean mirrors. Refill soap, towel and tissue containers, and replace burned out lights and/or starters , such sup- plies to be furnished by the City of Huntington Beach, r" Damp mop public restroom floor area. Damp mop employees' s lunch room. Clean shower stalls. Clean and service sand jars. Clean lobby entrance and entrance glass. = Sweep entrance, Remove and deposit trash for pickup in ' designated containers. Maintain janitor closet clean and orderly. Leave notice advising of any irregularities noted during servicing (doors left unlocked , lights left on etc . ) and shortages of restroom supplies , lights, drinking cups , etc. At no time will Sani-Care employees touch drafting table or office desk tops containing city �'.. papers. :. y ' : Completely dust desks , chairs, tables , filing cabinets and other office furniture. Dust partitions :t ledges and low mouldings. Thoroughly wash all urinals ` a r ea toilets and floors with solution containing an pp ov ► disinfectant. Polish all bright metal. Spot clean walls } A and woodwork for fingermarks and stains. Vacuum uphol- stered furniture. Damp mop concrete floor area in Police Annex.
