Atrachments: U ., STATEMENT 05F ISSUE : Stang Hydronics, Inc . has completed the construction and development of a water well, number ten, on the east side of Sher Lane south of Edinger Avenue. RECOMMENDATION: 1. Accept the work completed by Stang Hydronics , Inc. 2. Instruct the City Clerk to file the Notice of Completion. ANALYSIS : On December 15, 1980 , the City entered into a contractual agreement with Stang Hydronics for the construction of Water Well Number Ten. The .project included the construction and development of a reverse rotary drilled gravel packed water well . The work has been completed per the plans and specifica- tions and, therefore , the Public Works Department recommends acceptance of the project and requests that the Notice of Completion be filed by the City Clerk. The actual cost of construction and development was $3 , 600 less than the contract amount of $136 , 955 . 00 because of the way the project was bid. FUNDING SOURCE City Water Funds ALTERNATIVE ACTION: Deny acceptance of the work and instruct the Public Works Department on how to proceed with the contract. ATTACHMENTS: None .
