agree to support the Youth Employment Service :for the first half of
fiscal year 197.3-74 in the amount oC $9.720.00 as set forth in the

The Youth Employment Service is physically located at t4c- Huntington
Centor Mall, 7777 Edinger Avenue, Huntington Be;�cch, California. The v" ;
City of Huntington Beach will be the fiscal agent for the Youth'
Employment Service,
The Youth Employment Service Coordinator will prepare a bi-monthly
-report showing the number of job appl:Lcants from each of the three
cities; and the number of applivants placed for each of thy; cities.
Each city agrees to pay the above share of costs not later th.,in
heceraber 31, 1973.
After Aecemlp, .z 31, 1973 each city has mutuallyagreed to operate
its o,,m xac l'Lty within its incorporated boundaries and assume its
oIm expenses. However., each office will cooperate and work together �.
in the f,�illow ng areas
1. Meet on a regular basis to discuss shared goals and
problems and determine ways to ,work in a complementary
fashion.
2. Work together in purl city and other spec�al programs
3. Share job orders which are not iae ng filled by the
placement date.

During the month of July the Manpower Youth Employment
Service increased its job placement total by 141 hires over
the month of June. The Qna1 of 300 hires 1 set for the month
of July, was exceeded by 66 hires. Altogether 366 hires were
recorded compared with 226 .for lase month.
Applicant registration also increased during the ,ton,th
of July, with 1,402 applicants registered compared with
1,168 for least month.
