A plan should be outlined on how to preserve and transport unearthed specimens, and construction crews should be notified of possible specimen types (e.g., vert- ibrate banes, building remnants). 9.2 Traffic -Gothard Street improvements (widening and curb construc- tion) should be finished as soon as possible to ense traffic congestion. -To alleviate employee associated traffic congestion dur- ing morning and eveniiig hours, a left turn lane should be added on Gothard 'street heading north. 9.3 Aesthetics Project landscapi;tg should be initiated and finished as soon as it is feasible to improve site aesthetics and to hide constrr::tir;n activities. The landscaping will &Ito tend to trap and 'hold back dust and stop some surface runoff. -During phase ITI, the western -most vehicle parking build- ing should be built first to block the view of future construction and Yard activities. -Nigher, mare dense vegetation should be considered along Slater -to block the facil itv from traffic, thus enhancing the pub is view, 11 Ma, •P r1 9 i •.•r ter.»+e: +,....._-... .. _.....__............. ._._._ _ ._.._._....._..........................__.................................___._......_.__..__._ _... ..... ....._ _ .. __. .. _. _».. i bfivironaien .al Impact Report Page 3 Corporation Yard t 9.4 Noise -frees on the Western boundary shall be increased to pro- vide a sufficient buffer between the adjoining R-1 property and the proposed project. This shoul4 be completed prior to the rain season. -A catch basin for flotahles should he considered in the drainage system from the steam cleaner and car wash. 9.6 Land Whenever possible, scrap metal., should be collected and reso-d. -Gil wastes should also be collect-:d and resold (both of these measures are already being planned at the project). 9.7 Air •Vapor emission controls should be investigated in regard to paint booth emissions.
