This group currently consists of three experienced commercial appraisers who have 75+ years of combined appraisal experience and one licensed residential appraiser who has a general building contractor's background. The latter appraiser is an appraiser trainee seeking to upgrade his license level to commercial. I will be the point of contact of this coalition and will have the authority to bind our coalition for any work performed. Our proposal price will be valid for a period of 120 days commencing today. I have included the resume/curriculum vitae of those who would be working on the City of Huntington Beach assignments. We have adequate E & O Insurance currently in place and will secure a Huntington Beach Business License if selected to do any work. The three commercial appraisers of our coalition hold an WAS designation which is equivalent to that of an MAI. I have included a copy of my current California General Appraisal License. If you have any questions about this proposal please contact me. I understand Mr. Tesso already spent some time with you on the phone. I look forward to hearing from you shortly. Tesso (253) 841-2694 fax e-mail: jtesso@foxinternet.com RE: Huntington Beach our request for a statement of qualifications was welcome. I spoke with ich Amadril regarding designations. He assured me that a small Kplanation was necessary. we are aware, the MAI Member designation is highly respected in the ustry. So are the IFAS and the IFAC. The IFAS indicates that one has l the same education and a greater level of experience than its former Lnterpart, the SRPA . The National Association of Independent Fee praisers had a reciprocity agreement with the former Society. The SRPA mbers were grand -fathered to MAI status. he IFAC requires a counseling report that is more intense than the -monstration report required for the MAI. The fact is that the IFAC ,corporates client counseling as to the conclusions in a credible report. Thus, ther designation, IFAS or IFAC, are acceptable substitutes for the MAI .ember designation. you know, Mr. Cullen, I hold both the IFAS and IFAC designations. bid required a current CV and a history for the successful bidder. These ments are attached. As you know a larger percentage of my work has with the owners side and serving as backup to legal counsel. This work included ikings of partial or total in scope. Additionally, I worked with the surplus roperty section in setting minimum bids for surplus property. I addition, I ave provided highest and Best Use studies for remainders and surplus have provided reports and testimony to the U.S. Department of Justice on a ,PA line expansion case. The line expansion ran about 15 miles. I have rovided numerous Project Funding Estimates (formerly known as True ost) for Pierce County and King County. I provided expert witness work in a umber of power company cases that are very well known in California. I ave provided expert work on numerous slide cases along the west coast. I m throughly familiar with the California statutes as to Eminent Domain nd I am approved for work by the California Attorney General. [y experience includes partial take and full take appraisals on all types of )sidential and commercial/industrial parcels. I reviewed more than 3,000 appraisals while at American. Licensing My real estate brokers license has lapsed in Washington but will be reinstated as I finish the course work.
