DONOR shall supply all repair, maintenance, janitorial supplies and services to said premises. 3. DONOR shall be responsible for all charges for util'ities.supplied to said premises, except charges for telephone service, which shall be the responsibility of COUNTY. 4. COUNTY -shall indemnify and save harmless DONOR, its officers•, agents, and employees, from and against any and all claims,'demands, losses, or liabilities of. -any kind.or nature which DONOR,*its officers, -agents, and employees may sustain or -incur or'which may be imposed upon them for injury to.or death of persons, or damage to property as a result of, or arising out of,.the sole negligence of COUNTY, its officers, agents, employees, subtenants,,, nvitees; or licensees, in connection with the occupancy and use of the premises by COUNTY.;-. [ Yes [ ] New Policy or Exception CI Statement of Issue, Recommendation, Analysis, Funding Source, Alternative Actions, Attachments: STATEMENT QE ISSUE The Health Care Agency of Orange County is seeking rent-free use of office space at the Rodgers Seniors' Center for the purpose of providing an Elder Care Clinic. Approve the agreement with the County of Orange for the provision of health services to seniors and authorize the Mayor to execute same. The Elder Care program is provided free to Huntington Beach seniors 55 years of age and older on the second Thursday and the third Friday of each month from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. In order to provide this health screening by a public health nurse, an office approximately 12' x 12' with a desk, table, file cabinets and three chairs is required. This type of office space is available at the Rodgers Seniors' Center and the Community Services Department is willing to donate the space rent-free in order to receive this type of health service for our seniors. The "mini -physical" includes a health history, blood pressure, urinalysis, hemoccult and a vision screening. NONE 1. Don't provide the Elder Care clinic. 2.
