To Whom It May Concern:
Re: COMMUNITY SERVICES COMMISSION
I have enjoyed my service on the Community Services Commission and am
writing to express my willingness and interest in continuing on the Commission for
one more term.
We are fortunate to have recreation space and facilities that serve the community.
Our beaches, parks, playing fields and learning/recreation centers are critical
assets. In a city that is increasingly built out, these assets must be preserved and
well maintained for use by all our citizens. Where possible we must seek to acquire
additional recreation space and creatively use the space we have.
I believe in the importance of considering the issues faced by the Commission
from a broad perspective taking into consideration the needs of all our citizens.
My previous years of service give me a sense of history and the ability to see the
big picture.
I believe we have a very strong and capable Community Services Department. I
want to be a part of a supportive commission who can work in partnership with our
dedicated and talented staff.
If I can be of help as a Community Services Commissioner, I am ready to serve.
