HUD Uncertainty
No programs will be funded or
commence until the City allocations are
known
If a 6-month Continuing Resolution (CR)
for funding occurs, City Agreements will
be created for 50% of the allotted
allocation only
HUD Uncertainty
HUD likely to provide direction to Grantees
on how to move forward with different
allocations or elimination
The EDC will review allocations if amounts
are reduced beyond 25%
Staff is reviewing various budget impacts
regarding CDBG and HOME funds
Staff Funded Suggestions
If City receives only 75% of current
allocation, staff would recommend a few
minor changes to CPAB's
recommendations:
Fund Public Works ADA project at $140,000,
by eliminating one Code Enforcement
Officer (-$80,000) and the Housing Rehab
Loan Admin (-$60,000)
Staff Funded Suggestions
Potential Public Service changes:
Reduce funding to Oakview Family Literacy
by $1 ,753 to $7,500
Eliminate funding to OCCHC SteppingUP
program of $5,000
Fund Homeless Outreach Program at
$45,253
