Dear Councilmember:
At the Strategic Planning Workshop of January 27, 2012, Travis Hopkins presented the initial
results of the Street Maintenance Assessment District Public Opinion Survey. Council direction
was given to the City Clerk to agendize the following items for discussion and action at the
January 31, 2012 and February 21, 2012 meetings:

Council direction was given to the City Clerk to agendize, for the Special meeting of January 31,
2012, further Council discussion on the formation of a Blue Ribbon Committee regarding Street
Assessment Districts and the creation of a list of names of potential members of the
committee. Councilmembers were encouraged to come prepared to offer names of individuals
who they believe would be an asset to the committee.
February 21, 2012
The Revenue Street Maintenance Assessment District Survey Report from True North Research
will be presented to Council at the February 21, 2012 meeting. At that time, Council will
consider the formation of the Blue Ribbon Committee.
