April 2, 00 Election Perspective • Huntington Beach voters approved Measure M by 66.5%. • Measure M received the same percentage approval (69.7%) in OC as the Governor. • Only Propositions 1A and 83 received more votes than Measure M in Orange County. • The last time a transportation measure got a two-thirds majority In Orange County was 1912-the Good Roads Plan to pave major County streets.
