THIS AGREEMENT made this 14th of October, 1975 between the ci tom_
of Huntington Beach and the Huntington Beath Union High School D.strict,
hereinafter called CITY and DISTRICT, respectively.
WITNESSETH
This Agreement is to further the purpose of the DISTRICT and CITY to
provide an opportunity for students to learn about police science and the law, to
make students more aware of their responsibilities under the Taw and to enhance
students' appreciation of the law. The DISTRICT, in return for teaching and
advisement services of the CITY, agr^es to compensate the CITY not to exceed the
sum of $15,810 for the 1975-76 school year.
NOW THEREFORE, for and in consideration of the terms, conditions, and
stipulations hereinafter set forth;, DISTRICT and CITY mutually agree as follows,
1. CITY agrees to furnish _two Police officers to teach on the
high school campuses located within the city boundaries of Huntington Beach
2. DISTRICT agrees to assist the police officers in obtaining a
teaching credential, provide teaching classrooms, and other teaching support
services as may be required.
3. CITY agrees to provide the services of the teaching police officers
during the approved DISTRICT calendar teaching dates for the 1975-76 school
year.
4. This Agreement may be cancelled by either party to be effective
forty-five days after notifying the second party in writing.
At the end of the school year in June, the CITY will present a bill in
the above am;,,,., ^r portion thereof if total services could not be rendered, and
upon receipt �, .his bill , the District agrees topay to the treasury of the CITY
for services rendered.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hk"reto have caused this Agreement to
be executed and attested by their proper officers thereunto duly authorized, and
their official seals to be hereto affixed, as ofthe day, month and year appearing
below.

AGREEMENT
Attached 1s, :an agreement with the Huntington Beach Union
High School District for the City to continue providing
Police gfficers to teach and counsel students for the 1975-76
school year. Reimbursement from the School District has
been 'increased from that of previous agreements to reflect
salary changes. The School District is very pleased with
this outstanding program which enhances young people' s
appreciation of the law.
