Installation at Goldenwest @ Clay
Consistent with Council Policy? (:'i Yes ( J New Policy or Exc n
Statement of Issue, Recommendation, Analysis, Fundinq Source, Alternative Actions, Attachments:
Statement of Issue:
Previous undocumented improvements to this site have madu it necessary
to perform extra work to complete this project.
Recommt..dation :
Approve extra work in the amount of $18,232.69.
Analysis:
The Council has previously approved the total sum of S'32,049.38 for the
construction of this project. The total contract price plus the extra
monies required will equal the approximate sum of $110,300.00. This
surr, is well below the approved total project cust and therefore staff
requests that the Director of Public Works be authorized tc expend
these additional funds for change order costs.
The extra work involved the relocation of conduit runs, poles and Pole
foundations, the reconstruction of the bike lane, the removal of several
cubic yarOs of earth and embankment erosion control.
Funding Source:
City Gas Tax Funds = $160,000.00 (Account No. 745920)
