ANALYSIS: At its me ee' t ng of February 3, 1986, the City Council adapted Resolution Number 5634, regarding the Beach Boulevard Super Street Project. Progress has now been miede toward the implementation of the proposed improvements. Ube various, agencies involw.d, in concert with CALU' NIS and G'CIC, will prepare the necessary plans, specifications, esti- mates,, and attached draft document outlines the respcnsibilities of the City, OC'IC, ani CALTRAI S in these matters. As indicated in the MOU, the widening of the intersection of Starner Avenue at Beach :1oule•rard will be the subject of additional discussion with OCIC. This memorandum dLx--s not cb is ga to the City in any way regarding the method of funding the inp rovemen is a'- that location, except to discuss the matter further and reach agreement with OCTC. FUNDING SOURM: OL=- has allocated four million ($4,000,000) for Hie inpro•Jrzents on Beach Boulevard.
