IN RE: RIGHT OF WAY CONTRACT SEVENTEENTH STREET BRICKELL
On motion. of Supervisor Hirstein, duly seconded and unanimously
carried by Board members present, the Chairman Pro Tem and the Clerk are
authorized to sign, the Right of Way Contract 'J'ated dune 27, 1967, between
! the County of Orange and Charles F. Brickell and Gladys E. Brickell l
providing for the acquisition of rigrt of way for Seventeenth Street,
Project No. Z7, Parcel No. 122.
The County Auditor-Controller is instructed to issue his warrant
in the amount of $1,203.00 in favor of said grantors or assigns, and
additional warrants as required foi, reconveyance and forwarding fees, not '
Ito exceed $15 .00 each, inaccordance with instructions from the Department
of Real Property Services; delivery of said warrants to be delayed pending
1 n otice from the Department of Real. Property Services that adequate title

` to the subject property has been obtained.
Said warrants are to be made payable out of Z7. Seventeenth

authorized to sign the Utilities Relocation Agreement dated Tune 27, 1967,
{ between the Orange County Flood Cor,;:rol Districts; the City of Hmt' ngton
( Beach and the Standard Oil Company of California, for cooperation in
} construction of the East Garden Grove-Wintersburg Channel at Golden West
Street.

HUNTINGTON BEACH TO ORANGE' COUNTY FLOOD CONTROL DISTRICT
0n motion of Supervisor Featherly, duly seconded and unanimously
( carried by Board members present, the Chief Engineer of the Orange County
jFlood Control District is authorized to notify the City of Huntington
JPeach of the District's willingness to take over the Fountain Valley
;! Channel upon formal action of the City Council, as recommended in his
j letter dated June 27, 1967.

Gentlemen:
Transm?ttcd herewith are the origiral and two (2) copies
of a Utilities Relocation Agreement between the city of Huntington
Beach, Standard Oil. Company and Orange County ?Flood Control District.
The agreement proNIdes for the relocation of three (3) oil
pipelines at the Goldenwest bridge over the East Garden Grove
Wi.ntersburg Channel within an existing Standard Oil. Company right
of way, The pipelines must be relocated to facilitate the widen-
ing of the bridge. It is anticipated that the cost of the reloca-
Lion will W eligi.'ale for gas tax fluids.
It is recontended that your Honorable Body approve the agree-
ment and instruct the Mayor and Clerk to execute same.
