STATEMENT OF ISSUE:
At the May 15, 2006, Study Session on Affordable Housing on In -Lieu Fees, there were
several unresolved issues.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Establish an Ad Hoc City Council Committee to study these issues with staff and
recommend a position to the full Council. The committee will consist of two members of
the Chamber of Commerce, one from Huntington Beach Tomorrow, and two or three
Council Members to be appointed by the Mayor.

Recommending Establishment of an Ad Hoc City Council Committee to Study Affordable
Housing In -Lieu Fees (120.25)
Communication from Mayor Dave Sullivan and Councilmember Keith Bohr transmitting the
following
Statement of Issue:
At the May 15, 2006, Study Session on Affordable Housing on In -Lieu Fees, there were
several unresolved issues.
Recommended Action: Motion to:
Establish an Ad Hoc City Council Committee to study these issues with staff and
recommend a position to the full Council. The committee will consist of two members of the
Chamber of Commerce, one from Huntington Beach Tomorrow, and two or three Council
Members to be appointed by the Mayor.
Mayor Sullivan gave an oral report. Motion to approve Recommended Action, as
amended to include B/A member on the committee.
Approved 7-0
Mayor Pro Tem Coerper and Councilmembers Bohr and Hardy volunteered to serve
on the committee.
Council Comments - (Not Agendized)
At this time Councilmembers may report on items not specifically described on the agenda
which are of interest to the community. No action or discussion may be taken except to
provide staff direction to report back or to place the item on a future agenda.
