CITY COUNCIL ITEM FOR THE DECEMBER 17, 2012, CITY COUNCIL MEETING — REQUEST FOR COUNCIL CONSIDERATION TO FIX THE START TIME FOR CITY COUNCIL STUDY SESSIONS TO 4:30 P.M. STATEMENT OF ISSUE: Section 303a of the City Charter allows the City Council to fix the start time for meetings by ordinance or resolution. I would like to request that Council consider changing the start time for the Study Session portion of the regular City Council Meetings to 4:30 p.m., with the business and public comments portion of the meeting remaining at 6:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers.
