CITY COUNCIL MEMBER ITEM FOR THE NOVEMBER 21, 2016, CITY COUNCIL MEETING — HUNTINGTON BEACH OFFICIAL FLAG. STATEMENT OF ISSUE: It has been assumed that the official flag of Huntington Beach is the one displayed in the Council Chambers. On a few occasions, a different flag has been flown to represent the City of Huntington Beach. For example, the flag flown at the Civic Center is not the same one as in the Council Chambers because the city does not have an official flag.
