Statement of Issue: The Fourth of July Board would like to establish a "donor wall" in the
lower level of City Hall to recognize and honor those individuals, families and businesses
who enroll in the Huntington Beach Fourth of July's "Parade 2000" membership
organization.
Funding Source: Not Applicable
Recommended Action: Direct staff to work with the 4th of July Board to create a donor

Analysis: Local artist Pei-Feng (Patty) Liang has donated more than 100 hours to create a

celebration. This work of art will be the focal point for a permanent "donor wall" which will
recognize and honor the many Parade sponsors and individuals, families and companies
who are part of the "Parade 2000" membership. Liang's work has been exhibited
throughout the United States, China and Hong Kong. The artist is a member of the
Shanghai Artist Association, Shanghai Modern Lacquer Painting Academy and the World
