Please advise. Robin From: Estanislau, Robin Sent: Thursday, October 02, 2014 1:52 PM To. 'Chris White' Subject: RE: Reminder of Campaign Filing Deadline Approaching Hi Chris, I just posed the question to the FPPC "Who is not required to file pre-election statements?" Their response was: City general purpose committees (including major donors and independent expenditure committees) that do not make contributions or independent expenditures of$500 or more during the pre-election reporting period are not required to file pre-election reports. Whether or not this applies to a primarily formed committee such as yours is a question for the FPPC. I don't believe you have filed pre-election statements in the past few years, but the FPPC will provide direction quickly. Shoot an email to them at advice fppc.ca.gov.
