Funding Source: N/A Recommended Action: Motion to: 1. Adopt Ordinance No. 3811 Deleting Chapter 2.06 of the Huntington Beach Municipal Code, Relating to Campaign Documents, In Its Entirety. REQUEST FOR CITY COUNCIL ACTION MEETING DATE: 8/4/2008 DEPARTMENT ID NUMBER: CA 08-09 Analysis: On March 17, 2008, during the Study Session on Campaign Contribution Reform, the City Council directed the City Attorney to prepare ordinances amending Chapter 2.07 of the HBMC relating to Campaign Contributions and deleting Chapter 2.06 of the HBMC relating to Campaign Documents. The City Attorney prepared Ordinance No. 3803 relating to Campaign Contributions and the City Council subsequently passed and adopted Ordinance No. 3803 on June 16, 2008 at the regular City Council Meeting. However, the ordinance repealing Chapter 2.06 of the HBMC was inadvertently not prepared by the City Attorney's Office for the June 16, 2008 City Council Meeting.
