► Started searching two years ago
► Multiple options studied and considered
► $50,000 in CIP funds used toward range
feasibility study
► Ultimately after eliminating several
alternatives, funds were spent on engineering
study for Building E at Corporate Yard
► Westminster range: New option w/limitations

► 1 mile outside Huntington Beach city limits
► Monday - Friday 8AM - 5PM
► $600 per day range fees
$36,000 annually
► Shared with multiple agencies(20 at Open House)
► Lanes 25 yards in length
No rifle lanes
► Would require us to pay overtime due to
hour/day limitations
► Insurance and legal language issues
