Gentlemen: Mr. Moorhouse previously has obtained approval to replace lighting facilities on the Municipal Pier. It is understood that it is the desire of the City Council that this lighting be in place for the summer season of 1968. The light which was demonstrated consisted of a 1,000 watt lamp. It is understood that the replacement of the present lights will consist "of a light of an equal intensity. It is requested that authorization be granted for advertise- ment of the project. Transmitted herewith are plans, a resolution establishing wage scales and the notice inviting sealed bids. Specifications will be available at the time of advertisement for the job.
