Statement of Issue
The listed contracts are entered into by City Departments and consultant firms pursuant to the
Huntington Beach Municipal Code Funds are in the City budget These contracts have been
transmitted to the City Clerk for official filing for the public record
Financial Impact
No funds are required
Recommended Action
Receive and file the"List of Contracts Approved by Department Heads Pursuant to Huntington
Beach Municipal Code Chapter 3 03 and Submitted to the Office of the City Clerk for the Period
October 1, 2015, through December 31, 2015 "

Analysis
On November 15, 2001, the City Council established a policy to follow the administration of all
contracts entered into between City Departments and consultant firms pursuant to Huntington
Beach Municipal Code Chapter 3 03 Accordingly, Administrative Regulation No 228, effective as
of August 4, 2008, prescribes the policy regarding professional service contracts This policy
ensures public review of new contracts through identification on the Council agenda as required by
section 6 4 1 of the policy Attachment#1 is a list of all Contracts entered into by City Departments
for the last quarter of 2015

SUBJECT: Receive and file City Clerk's Quarterly listing of Professional Service Contracts
filed in the City Clerk's office between April 1, 2015 and September 30, 2015
Statement of Issue
The City's Administrative Regulation No 228 sets forth the requirement to publish, on a quarterly
basis, those Professional Service Agreements which due to their limited contract amount do not
otherwise require City Council approval. The two receive and file item lists the agreements
executed between April 1, 2015 and September 30, 2015
Financial Impact No funds are required
Recommended Action
A) Receive and file the "List of Professional Service Contracts Approved by Department Heads
Pursuant to Huntington Beach Municipal Code Chapter 3 03 and Submitted to the Office of the City
Clerk Between April 1, 2015, through June 30, 2015," and,
B) Receive and file the "List of Professional Service Contracts Approved by Department Heads
Pursuant to Huntington Beach Municipal Code Chapter 3 03 and Submitted to the Office of the City
Clerk Between July 1, 2015, through September 30, 2015."
