Agencies have 60 days to respond. Funding Source: Not Applicable Recommended Action: Adopt Resolution No. 000/ —7 7 a resolution of the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach establishing a policy regarding offers to the City from other public agencies to sell surplus real property. Alternative Action(s): Maintain current policy of allowing staff to review offers to the City from other public agencies to sell surplus real property. RCA Author: Clay Martin Other Public Agency Surplus Property.dot -3- 10/5/01 8:35 AM ATTACHMENT # 1 RESOLUTION NO. 9001_77 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH ESTABLISHING A POLICY REGARDING OFFERS TO THE CITY FROM OTHER PUBLIC AGENCIES TO SELL SURPLUS REAL PROPERTY WHEREAS, Title 5, Division 2, Part 1, Chapter 5, Article 8 of the California Government Code, commencing with Section 54220, provides the statutory procedure regarding the presentation of offers from public agencies regarding the sale of their surplus real property; and The City Council would like to review such offers when they are presented to the City, NOW THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach does hereby resolve as follows: 1. That all offers from public agencies regarding the sale of their surplus real property that are presented to the City shall be placed on the earliest possible City Council agenda for discussion and action by the City Council.
