COUNTY OF ORANGE PAU1, C. !ONES, being first duly sworn , deposes and says : That he is now and at all times herein mentioned was the duly appointed, qualified , end acting City Clerk of the City of Huntington Beach a municipal corporation, and ex-officio Clerk of the City Councii of said City. That pursuant to the provisions of the "Annexation of Uninhabl.ted Territory Act of 1939, " and amendments thereof and additions therCto , the C'Ly Council did on the 2nd day of March, 1970, pass and adopt Resolution No . 3144 giving notice of the proposal to annex certain uninhabited territory being designated as "Newland Annexation No. 4 , " and said action being taker pursuant tc ai written petition thereof. That annexation proceedings were completed by said City Council on the 4th day of May, 1970, by final adoption of its Ordinance No . 1576 , said Ordinance becoming effective on June 4 , 1970. That by said proceedings said City annexed the territory referred to in that certain certified copy of said Ordinance No . 1576 and a map delineating anid boundary, which Ordinance and ma are annexed hereto and by this reference incorporated herein . The boundary description of said annexed area is set forth in Ordinance No . 1576 . That all requirements of the laws relating to such proceedings have been complied with .
