One is a small triangular parcel at Algonquin and Los Patos and the other parcel is the property which Huntington Harbour acquired from Sunset Land and Water Company. I think that you and other City officials have felt that these properties should be brought into the City of Huntington Beach as soon as reason- ably possible to prevent possible problems arising from annexations by adjoining cities . Huntington Harbour is willing that these properties be annexed and since they are uninhabited, it would appear that the simplest procedure would be for the City to commence annexation proceedings on its own motion. If it is preferred that they be initiated on petition of Huntington Harbour, we will be ,glad to file petition for same if you will furnish us with proper description and maps to be used for annexation purposes . So far as I can see, it will take two separate annexations since the properties are not contiguous . Will you let me know your desires in this matter. Very truly yours, WBC :aaw Walter B.
