That pursuant to the provisions of the "Annexa- tion of Uninhabited Territory Act of 1939" , and amendments thereof and additions thereto, the City Council did on the 26th day of September, 1960, pass and adopt Resolution No. 1437, giving notice of the proposal to annex certain uninhabited terr- itory to the City of Huntington Beach, said territory being des- ignated as "Newland No. 1 Annexation" and said action being taken pursuant to a written petition therefor. That annexation proceed- ings were completed by said City Council on the 21st day of November, 1960 by final adoption of its Ordinance No. 802, said Ordinance becoming effective thirty days thereafter. That by said proceedings said City annexed the territory referred to in that certain certified copy of said Ordinance No. 802 and a map delineating said boundary, which Ordinance and Map are annexed hereto and by this reference incorporated herein.
