JONES being first duly sworn, deposes and says: That he is now and at all times herein mentioned was the duly appointed, qualified, and acting City Clerk of the City of Hunting- ton Beach, a municipal corporation, and ex-officio Clerk of the City Council of said City. That pursuant to the provisions of the "Annexation of Uninhabited Territory Act of 1939", and amendments thereof and additions thereto, the City Council did on the 20th day of April, 1964, pass and adopt Resolution No.- 1950 giving notice of the proposal to annex certain uninhabited. territory being designated as 'Sunset Beach No. 2 Annexation", and said action being taken _pursuant to a written petition therefor. That annexation proceed- inggs were completed by said City Council on the 4th day of May, 1964, by final adoption of its Ordinance No. 1053, said Ordinance becoming effective on June 4, 1964. That by said proceedings said City annexed the territory referred to in that certain certified copy of said Ordinance No. 1053 and a map delineating said boundary, which Ordinance and map are annexed hereto and by this reference incorporated- herein.
