Lansdale ' Zoning 0R-4 Location . S. W. Corner of 22nd and Olive Mrs. Lansdale purchased the "Rousseau" #6 August 1, 1968 from 0. T . Holton. There has been no production since January 1968. In November 1969 Mrs. Lansdale attempted to start the well attd was told that to restart the Well would require a conditional exception because the property Was no longer zoned for oil . On November 189 1969 Mrs. Lansdale 's conditional exception was approved by- the Planning Commission, with conditions, by a vote of 4 to :�1 although after the vote several of the Comissioners stated that they were not aware that the property eras not zoned for oil . i 01: November 219 1969 the decision wns appealed by Mayor Green and was set for a hearing December 13, 1969. Landadale Date: November 18, 1969 The staff has reviewed Conditions, Exreption No 69-38 a»d offers the following information for your consideration: 1. The property is located at the southwest corner of 22Yid Street and alive Avenue, in the R-4 Multiple Family Residence District. the parcel is 50 ft. wide by 117.5 ft. deep. 2. The applicant proposes to reactivate an idle oil well using existing equipment# 1'he well is considered non- conforming because it has been inactive for more than six months. 3. There are ns residential uses nearby, and the property within the irmediate vicinity is of an oil field wtuure; therefore this use is not incompatible with the surrounding Area. 4. The Uil Field Supt. has no objections to the re- activation of the well hnwever, he suggar:u that the site be landscaped aft1lar to the 'Colvin" wall situated on the west side of loth Street, 1/2 'block north of Ceau t highway. 5 . EquLpment on the site consists of a pumping unit and two storage tanks* 6.
