Honorable Mayor and City Council

Gentlemen:
On August 7, 1962, the Planning Commission held a public
hearing on UV #456 f1led by Luxury Homed, Louis Stabile
Agent, for renewal of an exi:.ting subdivision directional
sign for a one year period. The sign is located on the east
sale of Beach Boulevard approximately 200 feet north of Clay
Street, also known as 19606 Beach Boulevard.
The application came before the Planning Com=ission the day
after the Council had adopted the Subdivision Sign 0i-dinen.e,
No 922, and which will be effect -.Ye eptewber 5, 1.962. The
sign does not comply with that new ordinance as to its lo-
cation and its size.
It was the concensus of the Commission that as long as the
ordinance had been Adopted, Ehe signs should follow the
ordl.nance and, therefore, the application was unanimously
denied.
Respectfully submitted,
W. C. Werner
