My reasons for ' submitting this appeal is that I have just purchased the: A ,to Z Auto Wrecking and Salvage operation and lease the property on which it in located. Not, being the owner of the lard the responsibility of conditions 1,and 3 are not with me but with the owner, my landlord. I haves discussed these mutters with the landlord and have beeii informed the investment necessary to comply with said conditions could not be made due' to the Proposed freeway in this Area. Until the, routing of this freeway is settled the landlord feels it would be unfair to expect him to comply since' one of the proposed routes would cut through the property making hire investment futile. He Ms -re core stieted that until a, firm decision has been reached as to the: freeway routing he canuot justifiably put out the amount of money necessary to comply with said conditions. The remaining conditions that were set up have all been agreed to.•And, as I stated tit the meeting with the Planning Committee, every one of those, conditions were part of my lung range plan before I had ever attended the meeting. These conditions will be met as soon as possible, not because they must be met but because I, gas owner of this business, want,to build something I can be proud of and something the City will be proud of and, ultimately be rewarding'to all concerned. Making,a success of thi operation i.s .my goal. Day life a s, savings, in every' sense of the word, (finan ially Bind physically) have been invested 'here and because of thesereuse s J shall cooperate to the best of my ability in every way to make a success of this venture, to work hard coo that the City can be proud of tLs operation, proudthat I have: chosen their area to locate eqy business. Th foregoing is only a brief uccouhting of the reasons, for try appeal tv, y,ou in deleting conditions 1 and 3. Your consideration and cooperation will surely 'be know that you appreciated with regard 'So the operfatimn of this business in coo scab on appreciated and please know receive my ful p in .'all g the; City of ifunt:ington U... n It _ X. o0lYlaat' •t al at& 5*06Califormla •N .
