HomeMy WebLinkAboutREVISED 2008 FEDERAL FUNDING AGENDA - PROPOSED BY INTERGOVER CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACFEID City Council Interoffice Communication 007 FEB 20 PM 2: To: Honorable Mayor and City Council Members Y E,9Ci From: Jill Hardy, Chair, Intergovernmental Relations Committee on behalf of Council Members Bohr and Hansen Date: February 20, 2007 Subject: Agenda Item F-1, Revised 2008 Federal Funding Agenda Attached is an amended 2008 Federal Funding Agenda. Two changes have been made. ■ The amount requested for the Beach and Edinger Corridors project was changed from $800,000 to $1 million. Initially it was thought that we would request funding for the study. However, the funds requested would not be available until next year so the request is now directed toward assisting with construction of the improvements. ■ The other change was removal of the Shipley Nature Center, Blackbird Pond as an independent request. As we develop the project description, it became clear that the project fit more appropriately under the Water Infrastructure appropriation request. It has, therefore, been rolled into that request and removed as a separate item.
