Funding Source: N/A Recommended Action: Adopt Ordinance No. Alternative Action(s): Do not adopt Ordinance No. J � Analysis: In March, 2005, the City Council adopted a change to the City-wide Table of Organization deleting the Department of Administrative Services, and creating the positions of Finance Officer and two Deputy City Administrators essentially dividing the duties and responsibilities of that department. Implementation of this organizational change required recruitment of two Deputy City Administrators. One appointment to the position has been made and an acting appointment to the second position has been made. Chapter 2.12 of the Huntington Beach Municipal Code entitled Administrative Services Department should be deleted so that the Municipal Code correctly reflects the City's current management and structure. Council previously adopted Ordinance No. 3718 which, among other things, deleted references to Administrative Services Department/Director from other chapters of the Municipal Code.
