IN RE: CHANGE ORDER N0. 4 ALISO BEACH FISHING PIER, PROJECT. C-12 HEALY TIBBITTS CONSTRUCTION CO. , CONTRACTOR On motion of Supervisor Caspers, duly seconded and unanimously carried, the Chairman and the Clerk are authorized to sign Change Order No. 4 to the contract for construction of Aliso Beach Fishing Pier, Project C-lZ, with Healy Tibbitts Construction Co. , Contractor, as recommended in the letter dated December 30, 1970, from the Director of Harbors, Beaches and Parks. IN RE: SERVICE CONTRACT EXTRA HELP KEYPUNCH OPERATORS REGISTRAR OF VOTERS TASK FORCE, DIV. OF STATISTICAL. City of Huntington Beach V C1ty Ha11 E In Huntington Beach, California D CITY O F Dear Mr. Mi 1 ler: HIJNTINGT N BEACH Construction Stage 4A of the Federal Beach Erosion Control Project (Anaheim Bay to Newport Harbor) is being advertised for bids by the U.S . Army Corps of Engineers and work should start early in December. The work includes the placing of approximately 1 ,500,000 cubic yards of sand in the Surfside-Sunset Beach area ,to replenish a section of ,beach that has eroded to .a point where property is being endangered. The County, act- ing as the agent for the local shoreline owners , has advanced the local contribution for the project in order to get work started as early .as pos- sible. The distribution of local shoreline owners costs for Stage 4A is shown on the enclosed exhibit.. ` An agreement for contribution of your City's share of the local shoreline owners costs is also enclosed for approval and execution. Following exe- cution, the executed copy should be returned .to this office for further processing, - Thank you for your continued cooperation. The CITY agrees to pay the COUNTY upon demand the sum of 3i $9,620 which represents the CITY'S contribution towards the cost of 4I Stage 4A of the aforesaid beach erosion control project. 5` 2.
