The Director of Public Works informed Council that he recommended approval of the request for extension due to the extremely slow de- velopment in the area served by these facilities. . Long Beach, California, was the low bidder with a bid amount of $418,905.00. The Director of Public Works recommended that Council award the bid. to Sully Miller Contracting Company, Long Beach, California, a:1d re- ject all other bids.
