Frankel 17612 Beach Boulevard Suite #5 Huntington Beach, California Dear Dr. Frankel: In regard to your letter concerning procedure in endeavoring to get a street name changed, I have been checking on this matter. I talked with the Fire Department, who normally arranges for such name changes, and they informed me that they too had received a letter from you. Apparently the fact that the proposed change is opposed by Mr. Benson has a bearing upon their not acting on this case. I would suggest that you ascertain how many people would be involved on the street for which you propose the name change, and feel that it might bo well for you to circulate a letter requesting such change among the residents there. Such letter or petition would not have any particular legal bearing, but would be an indication to the Council concerning the popularity of such change. Following this, I suggest that you wttte a letter to the City Council requesting such change, including with it the letter you have circulated for signatures of proponents . The, if you will seed such letter to my attention, I will see that it is included in the agenda for the regular meeting of August 21, 1967. However, to have it considered for that meeting, it should be received in my office not later than August 14, 1967. e 2 INGT st 43, 1967 \rp4nRATc.O l n,9f f yggyngd a this -- , -p1Ease- feel— free_tor oftac o rr-rricc 9y P Q CALIFORNIA c Sincerely yours, NTY CPS Paul.
