Rowlands , City Administrator Paul Jones , City Clerk Gentleman: Tran'initted herewith is a copy of Resolution No. 1094, a resolution of the City Planning Commission recommending approval of Precise Plan Alignment No . ; 2-6. Thic precise Flan proposes to realign Ellis Avenue between Huntington and Gothard Streets to a more southerly alignment , taking advantage of- an, existing .swale and allowing Ellis Avenue to pass under the Southern Pacific Railroad tracks . 'Tentative . Trar t No . 7601 , on tite northwest corner of Huntington Street and Ellis Avenue , was approved with the proposed alignment. Another part of this precise plan is the extensLon , uf Huntington Street from Ellis Avenue to a point 1.32 feet north of Ellis Avenue. This pan will provide For the east half of Huntington Stre')to the west half having already been required as a condition of Tdntati.ve Tract No . 7601 . The Planning Commission held a public hearing on June 6, 1972, and unanimously approved the pplan . At the June 10 , 1972 meeting , they adopted Resolution No. 1C�94 and recommend approval by your Honorable Body.
