CITY COUNCIL 'OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH ORDERING THE VACATION OF A PORTION OF A WATER LINE , EASEMENT MOLD HUNTINGTON STREET IN THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON dF. BEACH h:HEREAS, on March 18, 1974 , the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach duly adopted Resolution Ho. 3860 declaring its intention to vacate a portion of a Water line easenent in old Huntington Street in the City of Huntington Beach, and referring to maps or plans ot,, file in the office of the City Clerk for particulars as to the proposed vacation; and Said resolution fixed the time and place of Monday, April 151 19711 at the hour of 7 : 00 p .m. , or as soon there- after as the matter may be heard, in the Council Chambers in j City Hall , Huntington Beach, California, for hearing all persons Interested in or objecting to the proposed vacation, which time was not less than fifteen ( 15) days from .the passage of said resolution. Notices of the easement vacation were posted con- spicuously along that portion of the water line easement in old Huntington Street proposed to be vacated, and such notices were posted not more than three hundred ( 300 ) feet apart and at least three ( 3) were posted. On April 15 , 1.974, at the hour of 7 : 00 p .m. thereof in Council Chambers in City Hall, Huntington Beach, California, the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach did convene for the purpose: of hearing all persons interested in or object- ing to the proposed vacation of a portion of the water line easement in old Huntington Street , at which time no objection was made to said vacation , and evidence: was presented showing that the portion of the water line easement in old Huntington /or 1 . _', Its — — — .71 Street piroposed to. be vacated is not nece•saary for present and prospective public street and is not suitable for use` or deve- lopment as bicycle paths or routes . The 60 . 00 foot wide eas�em&nt which was created is not necessary to accorm,andate the 21 inch water line that exists , as a 20 . 00 foot wide easement is adequate , according to the Water Superintendent .
