Hoyt Lane and Modale Drive."
That after adoption of said Resolution he posted conspicuously along the
street and property described in said Resolution, notices of the adoption` of
said Resolution and headed "Notice of Hearing Street Vacation" one of which
notices, similar to the notice posted as aforesaid is annexed hereto and made
a part hereof:
That he completed all the posting of said notices on the 23rd day of March
1973, and thereafter he made this affidavit and filed it with the City Clerk

A RESOLUTION OF THE � CITY COUNCIL OF THE .CITY OF
HUNTINGTON BEACH ORDERING THE, VACATIO►i OF PORTIONS
OF CAROLYN LANE, HOYT LANE AND MODALS DRIVE

WHEREAS , on March 5, 1973 , the - City Council of, the City
' of. Huntington Beach duly adopted Resolution No. 3651 declaring
its intention to vacate portions of Carolyn Lane , Hoyt Lane "
and Modale Drive , located In Tract 8011 , in the City of Hun-
tington Beach , and referring to a map or plan on file in the
office of the City Clerk for particulars as to the proposed
vacation; And
Said resolution fixed the time and place of Monday , April
21 1973 , at the hour of 7 :00 p .m. , or as soon thereafter as
the matter may be heard , in the Council Chambers in City Hall ,;
HuntinE,ton. Aeach , California , for hearing all persons interest-
ed in or objecting to the proposed vacation, which time was
not less than fifteen ( 15 ) daya from the passage of said reso--,
lution . Notices of the proposed vacation were posted conspi-
cuously along those portions of Carolyn Lane , Hoyt Lane and
Modale Drive proposed to be vacated , and. such notices were
posted not more than three hundred ( 300) feet apart and at
least three ( 3) were posted .
On April 2 , 1973 , at the hour of 7 :00 p .m. there-of In
Council Chambers in City Hall , Huntington Beach , California ,
the City Council did convene for the purpose of hearing all
persons interested in or objecting to the vaication of said
portions of Carolyn Lane , Hoyt Lane and Modale Drive , at which
time no objection was made to the vacation of portions of
Carolyn Lane , Hoyt Lane and Modale Drive , and evidence was
presented showing that those portions of Carolyn Lane , Hoyt
Lane and Modale Drive , located f.n Tract 8011 , in the City of
Huntington Beachs are not necessary for present or prospective

Public street purposes , and are not suitable for use or deve-
lopment as bicycle paths or routes .
. NOW THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of 'Hunting-
ton Beach ,, pursuant to Part 31 Division 9 of the State of
California Streets and Highways Code (Section 8300 et seq. ) ,
does resolve that the portions of Carolyn Lane, Hoyt Lane and
Modale Drive located in Tract 8011 hereinafter set forth are
not necessary for present and prospective public street purposes , �r
and arse not suitable for use or development as bicycle paths.,
or routes , and it is hereby
ORDERED that the following described portions of Carolyn
Lane , Hoyt Lane and Modale Drive located in Tract 8611 in the
City of Huntington. Beach be and the same are hereby vacated ;
and said portions of Carolyn Lane , Hoyt Lane and Modale Drive
so vacated are described as follows :
