ATTN: DOYLE MILLER, City Administrator. RE: CODE AMENDMENT NO. 65-9, an amendment to Article 981 of the Huntington Beach Ordinance Code. Gentlemen: Transmitted herewith is a proposed amendment to Article 981 of the Huntington Beach Ordinance Code. ' This provision is,an amendment to Article 981`,' Board of Zoning S Adjustments, which -pertains to the expansion of the Boards responsibility dealing with, ',1) The width and area of yards, 1 (2) The separation between buildings and other structures; (3) Setback regulations,'(4) The height limitations for all i structures, except the height of any building shall not exceed 10% of the maximum building height and further provided that said adffl stment will not increase the number of stories; 5) Signs; Lot adjustments;(7) Off-street parking,(8) Driveway requirements;(9) Lot coverage;(10) Commercial, industrial and professional separation walls; (11) Parcel maps;112) Filing, and (13) Filing fees. The Planning Commission unanimously approved this matter January 4, 1966, and recommends adoption by your Honorable Body. The Code provides that a public hearing shall be held on the matter after which an ordinance may be adopted effecting the change. Respectfully s fitted, K. A. Map which conforms to the City Subdivision Ordinance is hereby declared to be an adminiszrative function of the Board and no public hearing need be held thereon. 9312.3®l The Board shall render a decision on any Parcel Map application within forty (40) days after said application is filed. �313.1 Filigg. Applications for Conditional Exceptions, Use Permits and Parcel Ylaps shall be filed in the office of the Planning Department. Said applications shall be made by the owner of the property or the property owner's authorized agent. If the applicant is not the property owner, a letter from the property owner authorizing the agent to act in his behalf shall acl-lompany said application. 9313.2 Fi,li.n Fees. At the time an applica-t-ion is fileda the applicant shall pay the following fee: a) Conditiona-L Exception, twenty-five (25) dollars. 2 ve � Use Permit, twenty --five (25) dollars.
