RE: CODE AMENDMENT NO 66-11, an amendment to Division 9 of
the Huntington Beach Ordinance Code,
Gentlemen:
Transmitted herewith is a proposed amendment to Division 9
of the Huntington Beach Ordinance Code.
Said amendment proposes to repeal Article 977 and change
the wording in Article-980 from Parcel Map to Division
of - Land ..
The Planning Commission unanimously approved this matter
on June 21, 1966, and recommends adoption by your Honorable
Body.
The Code provides that a public hearing shall be held on
the matter after which an ordinance may be adopted effecting
the change. `

Section 1. Article 977 of Division 9 of
the Huntington Beach Ordinance Code is hereby repealed
and all sections contained therein.
Section 2. the following sections of
Division 9 of the Huntington Beach Ordinance Code are
hereby amended, and as amended, shall read in words and
figcires as follows:
S. 9811.3 Division of Land. Divisions of
Land that are not. as a subdivision, provided
all provisions of the Huntington Beach Ordinance Code
are complied with.
S. 9812.3 The granting of any Division of
Land conforms to the provisions of the Huntington
Beach Ordinance Code is hereby declared to be an admin-
istrative function of the Board and no public hearing
need be held thereon.
S. 98122_3.1 The Board shall render a decision
on any Division of Land application within forty (40)
days after said application is filed.
S. 9813.1 Fin. Applications for Condi-
tional Exceptions, Use Permits and Divisions of Land
shall be filed in the office of the Planning Department.
Said applications shall be made by the owner of the
property or the property owner's authorized agent. If
the applicant is not the property owner a letter from
the property owner authorizing the agent to act in his
behalf shall accompany said application.
$_,_ 9a_13.2 Filing Fees, At the time an appli-
cation is filed, the applicant —shall pay the following
fee-,
(a) Conditional Exception, twenty-
five ( 25 ) dollars.
(b) Use Permit, twenty-five (25)
dollars.
(c) Division of Land, ten dollars
plus two (2) dollars for each
lot over four (4) lots
