City Council
City Administrator
74-13 -
Transmitted herewith is Code Amendment No. 74-13, the intent of which
is to repeal the*7-1/2 foot variation in garage setbacks from the
street for the residential districts. The Planning Commission
initiated the amendment because of the unsightly on -street parking
effects, driveway auto overhang, and on -street driveway blockage
that results from such a setback variation.
The code amendment was approved by the Planning Commission at its
meeting on November 19, 1974 by a unanimous vote. The amendment
is exempt from the requirements of the California Environmental
Quality Act, 1970.
RECOMMENDATION:
The Planning Commission recommends approval of Code Amendment No.
74-13 .
