RE: CODE AMENDMENT NO. 66-1
Gentlemen:
After your public hearing on February 21, 1966, you referred
Code Amendment 66-1 to the Planning Commission for further study
and recommendation.
The Planning Commission considered the matter on March 1, 1966,
and unanimously recommend adoption of the enclosed revisions.
This ordinance will allow the Board of Zoning Adjustments to
approve minor plot plan adjustments on plans previously approved
by the Planning Commission, if the following conditions prevail:
1. The amendment shall not constitute a substantial change.
2. The proposed use of property shall remain the same.
3. The dwelling unit density shall not be increased.
4. The adjustment shall result in an improved plan.

RE: CODE AMENDMENT NO. 66-1, an amendment to Article 981 of
the Huntington Beach Ordinance Code.
Gentlemen:
Transmitted herewith is a proposed amendment to Article 981 of
the Huntington Beach Ordinance Code.
This provision is an amendment to Article 981, Board of Zoning
Adjustments, which pertains to the expansion of the Board's
responsibility. Said responsibility deals with plot plans
previously approved by the Board or the Planning Commission,
under the following conditions:
1. The adjustment shall not constitute a substantial change.
2. The adjustment shall result in an improved plot plan.
3. The proposed use of property shall remain the same.
4. The dwelling unit density shall not be increased.
The Planning Commission unanimously approved this matter
February 1, 1966, and recommends adoption by your Honorable
Body.
The Code provides that a public hearing shall be held on the
matter after which an ordinance may be adopted effecting the
change.
