Reynolds Secretary to the Planning Commission KAR/bd Encl: Amendment J f CODE AMENDMENT 66-21 RELATING TO IN -OPERABLE VEHICLES PARKED OR STORED ON PRIVATE PROPERTY: ADDING SECTION 9730.22 TO CHAPTER 97 OF THE HUNTINGTON BEACH ORDINANCE CODE. Section 1. That Section 9730.22 is hereby added to Chapter 97 of the Huntington Beach Ordinance Code to read in words and figures as follows: Section 9730.22. STORING OF INOPERABLE VEHICLES. No person, firm or corporation shall store, park or allow to be stored or parked upon his property, an automobile, truck or other vehicle which is either dismantled or disassembled, either in whole or in part, or which does not qualify to be operated upon the highway under the Vehicle Code of the State of California. (a) Excepted from this ordinance are inoperable vehicles stored or parked in a motor vehicle storage yard which complies with Section 9533.1 of the Huntington Beach Ordinance Code and has a current business license, or inoperable or dismantled vehicles parked or stored within an enclosed building.
