Therefore, the rezoning is an attempt- to prr•vide logical zoning alignments that will provide for the best and most compatible land uses. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: The, Planning Commission held a public hearing on the matter at its meeting of December 71 1976. There was no one present to speak on the request either in favor or in opposition . ENVIRONMENTAL STATUS : The proposed change of zone was a part of General Plan Amendment No. 76-2, which was granted Negative Declaration No. 76--78 by both the Planning Commission and City Council .
