R2 riypansion". will still allow a 6 unit complex without intruding
reuidenti'al development into the commercial development of Beach
Boulevard. The reduction of the R2 extension will also maintain
adequate. C4 zoning on the Beach Boulevard portion of the property
to , insure future improvement of the parking facilities for the
existing commercial building.
ENVIRONMENTAL STATUS !
The staff has determined that the proposed extension of the R2 zoning
will not have a significant environmental impact, therefore, Zone
Change No. 77-28 does not need an environmental assessment. However,
the development of the subject property will require environmental
review.
