Gentlemen : 'transmitted herewith is a copy of Resolution No 229 , a reso- lut ir)n of the City Planning Commission , recommending approval of Zone Case 229 , This case proposes to amend the Huntington Beach Ordinance Code to not prohibit certain structures in the setback of commercial or industrial developments , thus allowing su`h structures as pump islands and Si as t.a be erected within the setback area under the provisions of their respective zones . The City Planning Commission held' a public hearing on the nrntter on February 20, 1962 , at which time there was no one present to speak either for or against the proposal . By unanimous vote of the City Planning Commission, Zone Case 229 was approved and recommended to your Honorable Body for adoption .
