This,.case requested a chal.ge of zone on approximately 40 acres of land situated at the southeast corner of Warner Avenue and Graham Street from A-1-X General Agricultural District as adopted by Interim Ordinance No 668 to R--3 Limited Multiple Family Residence District . The City Planning Commission held a public hearing on the matter on August 6 , 1963, at which time thQ applicant explained that he has no plans for the property and. one other person spoke in favor of the proposal. There was no one -present to - speak -against the request . Considerable discussion was held by the Commission and it: was the concensus that R-2 zoning would be more applicable to the property.- By unanimous vote of the City Planning Commission, Zone Case 365 was approved and reeomaiended to your Honorable Body for adoption of a R-2 zone. The City Planning Commission geld a public hearing on the matter on August 6, 19633, at which time there were seven persons who opposed the change and three persons spoke in favor of it.
