Company Southeast corner Edinger and Monterey Drive Dear Mr. Jones : Would you please advise the City Council that a continuance y r Y will be requested on the public hearing scheduled for Monday, December 2 , to Monday, January 20, 1969 . i When tho matter came up for reconsideration by your Council in ;lovember :1nd the hearing was scheduled for December 2, it was suggested by some Counci'linen that an expert study of this pror^r- ty might be appropriate After careful consideration of this suggestion and conferring with your planning department, we have concluded that there is merit in this suggestion, and have re- tained a Firm of experts to make the study of this property for us . They have advised us that they will be unable to complete the study in time for the December meeting, and would like to have some time after the completion of the study to confer with your staff concerning the results . We have, therefore , concluded that January 20, 1969 , seems the earliest dale available to allow these events to occur and to perri.t all of us to propar.ly evaluate the best use of this property boCh now and in tf;e •'fu6jre of Huntington Beach. We will reimburse the City for any publication or notice costs in regard to this matter. As there is apparantly no public: opposition to this zone change request, 1 would appreciate your considering and achaduling, if possible, this hearing at 4 :30 that afternoon, as it will be conaiderably more convenient than the evening session.
